Nova Banjalucka Banka, was established 1911, with situated  in Banja Luka and is a Bank with longest tradition in Bosnia and Herzegovina.  In more than 90-year long history, this Bank went through most different transformations and worked successfully in different legal and organizational forms as a part of bigger number of banks and banking systems.

The first time it appeared under the name Banjalucka Banka d.d. Banja Luka was at the end of 1989, like a Joint Stock Company, with majority state capital. At the beginning of 2002, was started process of ownership transformation and the name of the Bank was changed from Banjalucka Banka to Nova Banjalucka Banka a.d. Banja Luka.

Recognizable by its character, tradition of many years and by the image it gained in the public and among its clients, Nova Banjalucka Banka is confirming the old and building new relations and contacts, following the principle: the new Bank - the old friends. Thanks to its clearly defined goals, hiring skilled and professional management team, dynamic business organization and its market orientation, the Bank has achieved significant results in the short period of time, growing each day into a serious candidate for one of the leaders in the banking sector and the bearer of economic development on the whole.

Nova Banjalucka Bank is a subsidiary of Bank Austria Creditanstalt (BA-CA), a member of UniCredit Group. BA-CA is Austria’s largest bank with shareholders’ equity of more than 7 billion euros. Together with UniCredit, BA-CA operates the most extensive international banking network in CEE with responsibility for 24 countries, more than 2,900 offices and some 60,000 employees serving about 17 million customers.

UniCredit Group is the fourth-largest bank in Europe. By joining forces with HVB Group and BA-CA, a truly European bank was created.
